Purchase to Pay Associate (Full-time, Permanent)

About the Role

Do you thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment while delivering transactional finance excellence? As the new Purchase to Pay Associate at Survitec’s Belfast site, you’ll join a financial team focused on processing, reconciling, and paying vendor transactions.

Your role is crucial in supporting supplier file management, resolving disputes, and producing professional-duty deliverables. It’s more than a job—it’s your career growth with an internationally recognised company.


Key Responsibilities

ResponsibilityDescription
Vendor Payment ProcessingReview and resolve invoice queries to ensure timely payments—maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Supplier File & Record ManagementOrganise and maintain supplier records, ensuring data meets internal quality standards.
Inter-Company Postings & ReconciliationHandle cross-company invoicing, conduct reconciling activities for supplier statements, and perform data clean-ups.
Vendor CommunicationAddress queries via emails, letters, or automated systems to improve supplier relationships while adhering to procedural compliance.
Quality ComplianceUphold standards of accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence across all P2P activities.
Dispute ResolutionWork as a first-point-of-contact to address supplier issues, proposing practical solutions.
Regular Reporting & ReconciliationExecute daily reconciliations using automated and manual processes as specified.

Principal Responsibilities Summary

  • Accuracy – Mistakes in finance are unacceptable.
  • Process-Orientation – Follow established procedures; reduce exceptions.
  • Vendor Management – Act as a link between suppliers and Survitec’s finance team.
  • Transparency – Communicate status and findings reliably.
  • Risk Mitigation – Flag non-compliance, fraud, or relationships affecting long-term risks.

The Experience & Skills You Bring

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, or process-driven purchase-to-pay operations.
  • Strong work ethic—high attention to detail, organisational skills, and results-driven motivation.
  • Ideal verbal and written communication—able to structure information, ask questions, and provide clear directions.
  • Proficiency exceeding minimum expectations in Microsoft Suite applications.

Desirable Criteria

  • A financial or streamlined professional degree/diploma.
