Purchase to Pay Co-ordinator

Purchase to Pay Coordinator (Full/Part-Time) - Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Location: Leicester / Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) Salary: Up to £26,500 + Benefits Contract: Part-Time (25 hours, min. 4 days) | Full-Time Business Unit: UK&E Finance – Serco Leisure


About the Role

We are recruiting for two opportunities within our UK&E Finance team—1x Full-Time and 1x Part-Time role—hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

At Serco Leisure, our Finance teams play a critical role in supporting leisure operations across the UK. We are looking for organised, customer-focused individuals to join us as Purchase to Pay (P2P) Coordinators, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, while supporting purchasing and Accounts Payable activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payableor Finance Administration experience. Ideally, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop your finance career. Graduates and candidates beginning AAT studies are also encouraged to apply.


What You’ll Be Doing

You will support the delivery of timely and accurate transactional finance processing within the Leisure Business Unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders
  • Managing supplier queries and nurturing strong working relationships
  • Reconciling supplier statements and aged creditors
  • Supporting month-end reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and supporting procurement activities
  • Maintaining supplier and contractor records
  • Assisting with CAPEX administration and expense processing
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in finance processes

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or purchasing administration
  • Ability to organise, process, and manage high volumes of work accurately
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset with a learner mentality

Desirable (but not essential):

  • AAT studies or an interest in finance qualifications
  • Experience with Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes
  • Knowledge of reconciliations, VAT, or financial controls
