Purchasing Administrative Assistant

Willand, Devon (EX15 2QW) | 37.5 hours per week | Hybrid Working Available

Are you naturally curious, highly organised and love bringing order to complexity?

We're looking for a Purchasing Administrative Assistant to join our growing Purchasing Team and play a key role in keeping information flowing, suppliers engaged and stock moving.

This isn't just an administration role. It's an opportunity to develop expertise within purchasing, build strong relationships across the business, and make a real impact on how we deliver for our customers every day.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll become the go-to person for product and purchasing information, helping colleagues access the accurate and timely information they need to support our customers.

A typical day could involve:

  • Investigating stock and product queries
  • Liaising with suppliers to track deliveries and update due dates
  • Analysing purchasing data and identifying overdue orders
  • Producing reports and insights for the Purchasing Team
  • Maintaining product and supplier information
  • Working collaboratively with our Warehouse, Customer Service and Commercial teams
  • Supporting purchase order processing and supplier communications

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
