About the Role
At MNM Property Services, we see strong purchasing support as vital to our success in the social housing sector. We are looking for a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our team in London. You’ll play a critical role in supporting procurement processes, ensuring smooth operations, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery.
As the backbone of our purchasing department, your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing supplier relationships
- Processing purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records
Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Negotiation
- Prepare and obtain quotations
- Negotiate competitive prices with suppliers

Order & Delivery Coordination
- Source materials, products, and services
- Process, monitor, and coordinate purchases and deliveries with suppliers and warehouses

Internal & External Liaison
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet purchasing needs
- Resolve supplier, delivery, or order-related issues promptly

Administrative & Record Keeping
- Maintain up-to-date purchasing records, spreadsheets, and reports (primarily in Excel)
- Support stock control and ensure required materials are available when needed

General Support
- Provide administrative assistance to the team
- Assist with additional tasks as required
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administration is preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Strong Excel proficiency (data management, reporting)
- Good general computer and office equipment knowledge
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team
