We are looking to expand our Fluid Power team with a Purchasing Assistant based in Halesowen.
About The Role
As a Purchasing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the procurement function by managing purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers to monitor deliveries and ensure timely supply
- Maintaining accurate purchasing data
- Ensuring operational and customer requirements are met

Success in this role will be measured through: ✔ Purchase order accuracy ✔ On-time supplier delivery performance ✔ Stock availability ✔ Supplier response times ✔ Cost-saving initiatives ✔ Resolution of purchasing and supply chain issues
Person Specification
We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant with the following:
- Previous experience in administrative, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
