We are now seeking a motivated Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team to support our continued growth.
As a Purchasing Manager, you'll lead our procurement function and support the continued growth of our business. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who can drive value through strategic sourcing, effective supplier management, and continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement of goods, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely supply of goods and services in line with business requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms, quality, and service levels.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues.
- Work closely with the operational team to forecast demand and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring value for money and continuity of supply.
- Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor purchasing performance, analyse procurement data, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead, support, and develop purchasing team members where applicable.

Skills and Attributes
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Highly developed analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, with strong financial acumen.
- Experienced in risk management and mitigation within procurement and supply chain environments.
- Commercially astute with a strong focus on cost control and value optimisation.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of supplier management, inventory control, and procurement processes.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
