Manufacturing & Distribution | Strategic Procurement | Operational Excellence
Location: Leeds
Salary: c. £60,000 basic + attractive bonus & benefits
Are you a commercially minded purchasing professional with experience in a manufacturing environment? Do you thrive on improving procurement performance, building strong supplier partnerships and driving efficiencies that support business growth?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing business as Purchasing Manager. You'll play a key role within the leadership team, taking ownership of purchasing strategy while enhancing systems, processes and supplier performance to support the next phase of the company's development.

The Opportunity:
- Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you'll lead and develop the purchasing function while taking responsibility for procurement strategy, supplier management, inventory optimisation, and operational excellence.
- Autonomy to introduce new ideas, implement improvements, and drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, profitability, and service levels across the business.

About You:
- Experienced Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, or Senior Buyer with a background in manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong commercial awareness combined with a hands-on and proactive approach.
