PV Engineer (NG)

At Sureserve Energy Services, excellence is not just an expectation; it's our standard. With a driven team of almost 600 professionals, we are at the forefront of providing stellar asset and energy services across the UK. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to elevate the quality of life in the communities we serve by innovating and improving the spaces where people reside, work, and gather.

Are you a skilled electrician with a passion for renewable energy? We are looking for a dedicated PV Engineer in the NG postcode area to provide high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair solutions for our domestic customers across the region.

If you have a "first-time fix" mindset and pride yourself on technical excellence, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the face of our technical service department, ensuring solar systems are performing at their peak. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Troubleshooting faults on domestic PV systems, including inverters, string configurations, and optimizers.
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure system longevity and safety.
  • Carrying out component replacements (inverters, DC isolators, or panels) and minor electrical upgrades.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to BS 7671 standards and documented accurately.
  • Providing clear, professional advice to homeowners on system health and performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
