This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Python Coding Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in United Kingdom.
This freelance opportunity is designed for Python experts who want to contribute to the evolution of advanced AI systems. The role focuses on creating and evaluating high-quality training data that helps improve the reasoning and coding capabilities of large language models.
You will work on complex software engineering scenarios, testing AI-generated solutions and identifying areas for improvement. Your expertise will support the development of AI tools that enhance learning, research, and software development worldwide.

Accountabilities
As a Python Coding Specialist, you will help train and improve AI models by applying your software engineering expertise to real-world technical challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with AI models on advanced Python programming tasks, software engineering scenarios, and technical evaluations.
- Reviewing generated code for accuracy, efficiency, readability, and alignment with software development best practices.
- Testing model responses across areas such as algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, APIs, cloud systems, and debugging.
- Identifying errors, documenting reproducible failure cases, and providing detailed feedback to improve model performance.
- Supporting the refinement of evaluation methods and prompt engineering strategies through technical insights.
- Communicating technical reasoning clearly by explaining approaches, decisions, and improvements.

Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong Python expertise with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and AI development. You should have:
- Professional experience with Python programming and strong knowledge of software engineering principles.
- Experience with areas such as algorithms, data structures, backend or frontend development, system programming, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with debugging, code review, API integration, secure coding practices, and software architecture concepts.
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience with technical writing, documentation, open-source projects, or explaining complex concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to clearly communicate your reasoning and technical decisions.
- The ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
