Python Coding Specialist – AI Trainer

This role is for Python coding specialists who excel in:
- Algorithms, data structures, and software architecture
- Frontend and backend development
- Cloud infrastructure and systems programming
- Asynchronous programming, RESTful API integration, memory management, and object-oriented design
You’ll test and refine advanced language models by stimulating technical discussions on Python. Your tasks include verifying logical accuracy and coding fluency, evaluating code quality, capturing reproduceable error traces, and advocating for improvements in prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Engage in Python-based software engineering discussions with AI models ✔ Validate logical correctness and technical precision in generated code ✔ Assess code readability, maintainability, and security practices ✔ Document failure modes to strengthen AI reasoning ✔ Refine prompt engineering strategies for technical tasks ✔ Ensure reproducible debugging of distributed systems and APIs
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python with experience in:
- Algorithm design and optimisation
- Software architecture (frontend, backend, cloud-based)
- Systems programming and memory management
- RESTful API development
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Related technical disciplines
- Preference for candidates with:
- Public open-source contributions
- Experience in technical writing
- A strong track record in debugging and troubleshooting
- Must demonstrate:
- Metacognitive communication (e.g., showing detailed reasoning)
- A passion for innovation in AI-driven software development

Payment & Contract Details
- Hourly range: $8–$65/hour (final rate dependent on experience and location)
- Contractor requirements: Will need to supply a secure work setup (personal computer + high-speed internet)
- Benefits: Not applicable (health insurance and PTO are sponsored benefits for employees; contractor terms vary)
