The successful candidate will collaborate with technology teams, trading desks, and external vendors (Databricks and Charles River) to design, integrate, and optimise platforms and extract required data.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of various trading systems.
- Develop and maintain applications and services using Python and .Net along with experience in Databricks.
- Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to ensure high-performance data access and reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and resilience.
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in a regulated environment.

Key Requirements

- Proven experience as a Software Engineer / Developer within investment management / Asset Management.
- Strong programming skills in Python and.Net along with experience in Databricks.
- Experience with OMS platforms, ideally Charles River.
- Experience with the Alpha Data Platform (ADP) highly advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with API development, integration, and management.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL databases.
- Familiarity with trading workflows, market data, and order/execution management systems is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and be proactive in solving engineering challenges.
