About The Role
We are a dynamic and innovative QA Automation Team dedicated to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our software products. Our team is distributed and has flexible work locations, with team members working in Taiwan, Europe, and America. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing our in-house automation framework.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of software development and quality assurance, contributing to the development of robust automation solutions that support our software testing processes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Python development, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience. You should demonstrate proficiency in object-oriented programming and have a proven track record of developing and maintaining scalable software solutions. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential for effective collaboration within our distributed teams. Familiarity with design patterns, Python's built-in libraries, and containerization (such as Docker) is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks like pytest or unittest, and version control systems such as Git (preferably GitHub) will be considered advantageous. Knowledge of Kubernetes and JavaScript is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Take the lead in enhancing our in-house Python-based automation framework, ensuring it remains robust, scalable, and efficient.
- Codebase Refactoring: Drive efforts to refactor existing codebase, emphasizing clarity, readability, and maintainability to facilitate future enhancements.
- Collaborative Automation: Collaborate closely with QA Engineers to identify automation needs and implement solutions within the framework.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Utilize strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues within the automation framework.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate automation processes into the software development lifecycle.
