Role: Python Game Developer (Remote)

Payout: $20 - $70/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Junior Python Game Developer (Panda3D) to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing and optimizing game mechanics using Python and the Panda3D engine. You will assist in porting existing game code to Panda3D and maintaining game systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and debug game mechanics using Python and Panda3D engine components
- Port existing game code to Panda3D while ensuring performance and stability
- Implement and test new game features under supervision of senior developers
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing existing game systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with art and design teams to integrate assets and systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with Python game development or scripting
- Experience with Panda3D game engine or similar 3D frameworks
- Familiarity with game physics, rendering pipelines, or asset integration
- Ability to read and refactor existing Python codebases
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git
