Python Software Engineer | Software Developer | Python, AWS, Terraform
London, London City
Hybrid, 2 days a week onsite
£80k plus 8% bonus, 10% pension, private healthcare
About the Role
We're recruiting for a Python Software Engineer to join a large, global AI & SaaS specialist.
This is an opportunity to work on complex platform engineering challenges where your work will revolutionise the speed and accuracy of production quality code.
You'll spend your time building automation frameworks, developing internal tooling, creating Infrastructure as Code solutions, and eliminating manual processes through clean, scalable, production-quality code. All within a talented team pushing the boundaries of innovation and modern technology.

What You'll Be Doing | Summary of Skills
- Building automation frameworks and tooling using Python
- Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform
- Creating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2
- Automating Windows environments through PowerShell
- Managing and improving configuration management with Puppet
- Building CI/CD integration's for infrastructure delivery
- Working closely with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiency
- Driving infrastructure standardisation, reliability and scalability across complex environments
