QA Analyst
QA Analyst – Doncaster (Hybrid Role)
At TBA Group, we’re a global leader in distribution and supply chain software solutions. As we expand over the next five years, our Doncaster team needs a mid-level QA Analyst to strengthen our software testing capability.
Marshalling 3+ years of software QA (manual testing) experience, you’ll own end-to-end test activities while bridging roles across Development, Delivery, and Team Leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Commitment
- Own testing lifecycle: from requirements analysis → test design → execution → release.
- Drive high-quality manual testing, covering exploratory, regression, and integration scenarios.

Defect and Quality Ownership
- Identify, prioritise, and clearly document issues with actionable updates for developers.
- Collaborate on UAT testing with business analysts.

Agile Collaboration
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement) with QA insights.
- Work with developers and product managers to refine acceptance criteria.

Process Improvement
- Contribute to evolving QA standards, documentation, and workflows.
- Gradually enhance test automation (e.g., Playwright where applicable).
Qualifications & Desirables
Required:
✔ 3+ years in manual software QA ✔ Proficient in QA methodologies (e.g., regression, integration testing). ✔ Independent test planning/execution for features/releases. ✔ Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. ✔ Articulate test cases and detailed bug reports. ✔ Knowledge of defect tracking tools (Jira, DevOps).
Soft Skills: ✔ Analytical precision + strong collaboration skills

Desirable/Differentiators:
� Familiarity with Playwright automation (experience a plus). ✔ Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman). ✔ Basics in CI/CD pipelines (testing fit within deployments). ✔ Building/maintaining automated test suites. ✔ Scripting/light programming awareness.
