As a QA, you'll be responsible for promoting quality throughout the development lifecycle while supporting the delivery of reliable, secure and scalable software.
The Day-to-Day
As a QA Analyst at Reward, you'll work within a fast-paced Agile delivery team, helping to ensure the quality and reliability of our loyalty platform throughout the software development lifecycle.
You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify risks and deliver high-quality software through a combination of functional testing, exploratory testing, API testing and automation.
- Experience working in a Software QA or software testing role.
- Experience testing web applications and APIs.
- Understanding of modern software testing principles and risk-based testing approaches.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as TestMo or Jira.
- Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright or equivalent.
- Basic SQL knowledge for validating application data.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for quality and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Experience working within AWS or cloud-based environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS or working within regulated environments.
- Experience contributing to automated testing solutions.
- Experience testing data migration, ETL or data integration solutions.
- Exposure to data validation, reconciliation or data quality testing.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and define appropriate test approaches.
- Design, execute and maintain functional, exploratory and regression test scenarios.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated tests where appropriate.
- Perform API testing and validate backend services.
- Identify, investigate and manage software defects through to resolution.
- Contribute to sprint planning, refinement and estimation from a quality perspective.
- Promote quality best practices and continuous improvement within your delivery team.
- Maintain appropriate test evidence and documentation.
- Support release validation across multiple environments.
- Contribute to improving testing processes, tooling and overall product quality.
