QA Analyst
QA Analyst CRITICAL Fixed Term Role – Ending 31st December 2026
Position Location & Contract
- Role: QA Analyst
- Reports to: QA Manager
- Location: Hybrid (Dublin 01)
- Contract Type: Fixed Term (until 31st December 2026)
- Salary: €45,830 – €63,017 per annum
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to uphold our software quality standards. Your responsibilities will span test script design, defect lifecycle management, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring alignment with user expectations throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Strong analytical ability, precision, and a passion for high-quality development are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design & execute functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end test scenarios based on epics, user stories, specifications, and requirements.
- Develop, execute, and refine automation and manual test scripts to guarantee software reliability across multiple enterprise applications.
- Commission and maintain end-to-end test plans to confirm applications function seamlessly in real-world conditions.
- Design and update regression test suites while ensuring prolonged compliance with evolving requirements.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), aligning user expectations through active stakeholder engagement.
- Document and track defects from discovery through resolution, collaborating with QA managers, project managers, third parties, developers, product owners, and analysts.

SDLC & Quality Collaboration
- Integrate QA best practices across the SDLC, fostering early defect detection through cross-functional collaboration.
- Perform data validation and ETL testing for system migrations and integrations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Provide transparent progress reports, including test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to enhancing QA processes, focusing on efficiency gains and defect prevention.
- Conduct post-release validations to confirm stability, functionality, and performance.

Person Specification
Experience/Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a manual QA Analyst.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software testing frameworks, methodologies, and processes.
- Proficiency in JIRA, DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), or Bugzilla.
- Experience testing CRM, data systems, or platform integrations.
- Ability to write clear, structured test plans and test cases.

- Skills in automated testing (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI).
