QA Assistant – Wellingborough
Are you detail-driven, organised, and looking to build a career in Quality within a fast-paced warehouse environment? Do you enjoy working with data, processes, and ensuring high standards are maintained? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a QA Assistant to join us at our Wellingborough site. In this role, you’ll support the QA function by carrying out inspections, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with audits and quality processes to ensure products meet company standards.
The Role
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on any "5 out of 7" days, predominantly Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:00). However, flexibility is required as this is logistics after all.

Key Responsibilities
On a typical day, you’ll:
- Carry out visual inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and update warehouse systems
- Identify non-conforming products and support quarantine or rework processes
- Input data into trackers and assist with report preparation
- Support internal and external audits and provide QA paperwork when required
- Act as a point of contact for QA queries and respond in a timely manner
- Liaise with operational and support teams to resolve quality or documentation issues
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Provide general administrative support to the QA team
Requirements
To succeed at GXO, you should have:
- Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or warehouse environments
- Knowledge of warehouse processes, including goods in/out, picking, packing, and health & safety procedures
- The ability to accurately identify defects, discrepancies, and quality issues
- Confidence in reporting findings, raising issues, and communicating quality standards to supervisors and colleagues
- Experience using inventory management systems, completing data entry tasks, and operating basic inspection tools (e.g., scales, measuring equipment)
