ABOUT US

Belazu has been a pioneer of supplying chef grade ingredients for over 30 years. We are a Silver Standard Investor in People, recognised as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work and a responsible, ethical B Corp accredited business. We balance the needs of our people, our product and our planet alongside our need to be profitable. We have a diverse workforce that not only contributes to a positive company culture, but also to our achievements. We were nominated in 2025 for a Spotlight Award for our ethnic minority employment experience.

Our Approach

We strive to walk the talk – in our dealings internally and externally. We are all committed to development, of ourselves, our products, our relationships and our positive impact. This is a growing business with a social core and we welcome the unique contributions that you can bring in terms of your education, opinion, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, colour, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.

ROLE PURPOSE

This role supports the maintenance of product quality, legality, authenticity and food safety across Belazu’s manufacturing operations. You will help ensure products and processes comply with Belazu systems, procedures, HACCP controls, customer requirements and BRCGS standards.

You will carry out audits, product checks, testing, investigations, calibration checks and environmental monitoring, working closely with Production, Hygiene, Engineering, NPD and Technical Services. Success in this role means issues are identified early, corrective actions are followed through, records are accurate and the site maintains a strong right-first-time food safety and quality culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, fabrication, glass and brittle plastic, and HACCP audits.
  • Identify non-conformances, verify corrective actions and support trend analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Verify CCPs, procedural compliance and operator competency, escalating issues where standards are not met.

Product Quality & Testing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
