We are looking for a QA Automation and DevSecOps Engineer with expertise in AMP_L (Artifactory & Xray), CI/CD pipelines, and Eggplant Test Automation. The talent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining automated quality assurance processes, integrating testing into DevSecOps pipelines, and ensuring secure, compliant, and high-quality software releases across enterprise applications. The role requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, release management, and business teams within the AMS environment. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI.
- Build and execute model-based, end-to-end, regression, and integration test suites across web and desktop applications.
- Perform functional, API, integration, and system validation, including cross-platform testing.
- Analyse test results, produce actionable quality metrics, and support defect triage and root-cause analysis.
- Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent).
- Support continuous testing and shift-left practices within DevSecOps workflows to improve release reliability.
- Govern artifact repositories in JFrog Artifactory, including repository structure, artifact lifecycle, and dependency management.
- Use JFrog Xray to perform vulnerability and license compliance scanning and support secure release readiness.
- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, release management, and business teams in the AMS support environment.
- Contribute to service management activities (AMS), including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in QA automation and/or DevSecOps roles within enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI for automated and model-based testing.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git/GitHub and automated deployment validation.
- Practical knowledge of JFrog Artifactory and JFrog Xray, including artifact lifecycle management and compliance scanning.
- Proficiency in Python or Java for test automation, plus PowerShell or Shell scripting for tooling and integration tasks.
- Experience with REST API validation and automated API testing.
- Preferable exposure to DevSecOps practices, defence or aerospace domain, performance testing, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), Agile/Scrum, and ITIL-based AMS support.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Must be a UK national, ideally previously holding or eligible for SC Clearance, and located within commuting distance of Stevenage or willing to travel regularly.
