QA Automation Engineer
Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Automation QA Tester to join their growing technology team.
Working alongside developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks. You will help drive testing best practices across the business while ensuring software releases meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
This position would suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, can work independently when required, and is equally comfortable collaborating within a wider QA and development team. Strong communication skills and a willingness to mentor and share knowledge are essential.

Key Skills
Essential
- 4+ years’ experience as an Automation QA Tester
- 2+ years’ experience within the financial services sector
- 1+ years’ experience leveraging AI to enhance automated testing frameworks
- Proven experience building and maintaining Cypress testing libraries
- Strong knowledge of Unit, Component, and End-to-End testing
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a QA team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Determined, proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Ability to share knowledge and support junior team members
