QA & Compliance Manager (Product Office)

The QA & Compliance Manager is responsible for defining, embedding, and assuring quality and compliance standards across the end-to-end product lifecycle.
This role ensures that all digital products and productised services are consistent, scalable, compliant, and fit for purpose, enabling repeatable delivery and protecting the organisation’s reputation, commercial performance, and regulatory obligations.
As part of a newly established Product function, the role will play a critical part in shaping governance frameworks, setting quality benchmarks, and standardising delivery practices.

- Establish quality gates, acceptance criteria, and release standards across the product lifecycle
- Drive consistency across:

- Regulatory requirements (as applicable to sector/geographies)
- Internal governance standards
- Data, security, and risk policies
- Ensure alignment with recognised frameworks (e.g. ISO standards, AWS Well-Architected, data governance principles)
- Maintain audit readiness and ensure traceability across product decisions and outputs

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
