About the Role
At Credera, Quality Assurance is about far more than finding defects. Our QA Consultants play a critical role in delivering high-quality technology solutions, helping clients reduce risk, improve customer experiences and deliver successful digital transformation.
We're looking for a collaborative QA Consultant to join our growing Salesforce team. You'll work alongside consultants, architects, developers and client stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirements through to release.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of client engagements, helping to deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce and digital transformation programmes while contributing to the continuous evolution of our QA capability.
The central hub for this position is in Newcastle, but we welcome applicants from across the North-East. We operate a hybrid working policy with an expectation of 60% in office time. We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
As a QA Consultant, you'll:
- Design and execute test strategies across Salesforce and digital delivery projects
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases and test reports
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects to ensure requirements are testable and solutions meet business needs
- Plan and coordinate functional, system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing
- Manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle and clearly communicate quality risks
- Support Agile delivery teams by embedding quality throughout each sprint
- Identify opportunities to improve testing practices, automation and reusable assets
- Contribute to the growth of our QA capability through knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment activities, including technical interviews where appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
