QA Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Engineer based in United Kingdom.
We are looking for a QA Engineer to help strengthen software quality across web and mobile applications within a fast-growing technology environment.
This role focuses on embedding reliable testing practices throughout the development lifecycle and ensuring products meet high standards of performance and usability.
You will collaborate closely with developers, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks, improve processes, and deliver stable solutions.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the evolution of innovative digital products in a dynamic and international setting.
You will take ownership of test planning, execution, documentation, and quality improvements while working in an agile environment.

Accountabilities:
- The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product reliability by designing, executing, and improving testing processes across the software development lifecycle.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing across web and mobile applications, including integration, regression, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects while collaborating with development teams on resolutions.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure delivered features meet business and technical requirements.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test suites, checklists, and testing documentation.
- Analyze product features and requirements to define effective testing approaches.
- Monitor quality assurance metrics and contribute to improving testing processes.
- Collaborate with developers, delivery managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support the refinement of QA methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably within FinTech, banking, iGaming, or other high-volume transaction environments.
- Strong experience testing web applications and understanding software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
- Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience working with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Python, Playwright, Docker, and Kubernetes is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and business teams.
- Proficiency in Russian and intermediate English communication skills.
