QA Engineer

La Fosse has partnered with a financial services organisation to recruit a QA Engineer into its established engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on QA Engineer with strong automation experience to help scale and enhance an existing test framework. You'll work closely with engineering teams to improve automation coverage while driving the adoption of AI-powered tools to accelerate test creation, streamline documentation, and improve overall testing efficiency. Ideal for someone passionate about modern quality engineering, automation, and practical applications of AI within software testing.

Key requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using JavaScript and Cypress
- Experience implementing AI tools to support test automation, script generation, or test documentation
- Proven experience designing or rewriting test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Experience scaling automation capabilities within complex enterprise environments
- Knowledge of Playwright alongside Cypress would be highly beneficial
- Background working within financial services or another highly regulated environment
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Previous development experience or a software engineering background would be highly advantageous
