About Healthera
Healthera is one of the UK’s leading digital healthcare platforms, connecting over a million patients with thousands of pharmacies across the UK and Canada. We build consumer apps, pharmacy software and healthcare infrastructure that people rely on every day.
We’re looking for our first dedicated QA Engineer to take ownership of product quality across the business.
This isn’t a role for someone who simply follows test cases. We want someone who enjoys hunting for edge cases, understands how users really behave, and can think like a careless (or malicious) user. Once you've established solid manual coverage and understand where the real risk lives, you'll design and build the automated regression testing that lets us ship quickly with confidence.
What you'll do
- Own software quality across our web platform, mobile apps and APIs.
- Test new features before release using a mix of exploratory and structured testing to uncover edge cases and break things intentionally.
- Identify bugs, investigate root causes and work closely with engineers to resolve them.
- Build and maintain automated regression tests where they provide the biggest impact.
- Test customer journeys end-to-end, including sign-up, ordering, payments, bookings and notifications.
- Verify integrations with third-party systems and external APIs.
- Help improve our release process so we can ship faster with fewer regressions.
- Champion quality across the engineering and product teams.
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports, and build the test plans, cases and documentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
