Job Title QA Governance & Reporting Specialist Role Overview The Quality Engineering & Assurance (QEA) organisation is seeking a QA Reporting & Quality Insights Specialist with strong analytical, reporting, and tooling skills. This role focuses on enhancing Quality Governance, Test Reporting, and Data Insights across multiple delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid Quality Assurance background, with hands-on proficiency in JIRA (Dashboards, Rich Filters, reporting configuration), building Power BI dashboards and data models, and advanced Excel functions. You will support Quality Management & Administration functions — including governance, reporting, metric standardisation, and continuous improvement of QA reporting capabilities. Key Responsibilities Power BI Reporting & Data Modelling Develop Power BI dashboards for QA metrics, test status, defect analytics, and leadership reporting. Build structured data models and perform data transformations to integrate JIRA, test data sources, and structured datasets. Create reusable templates and automated reporting flows for enterprise-wide consumption. JIRA-Based Testing Insights & Reporting Build and maintain JIRA dashboards, Rich Filter views, and reporting components used across QA programs. Ensure JIRA data consistency, cleanliness, and alignment with QA reporting needs (without requiring admin-level configuration). Partner with QA Leads to evolve JIRA usage for better visibility into test progress, quality metrics, and release health. Excel Analytics & Governance Reporting Produce analysis using Excel Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas, and data manipulation techniques. Standardise reporting packs, governance scorecards, and trend analysis visuals for weekly/quarterly reviews. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in building reports and dashboards in JIRA and Power BI, with a solid background in QMO practices and a good understanding of the testing lifecycle, defect management, and quality governance. Hands-on experience with: JIRA Dashboards & Rich Filters Power BI dashboard development & data modelling Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data cleaning, etc.) Ability to translate QA metrics into meaningful insights for leadership and delivery teams. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with integrating JIRA data into reporting workflows. Understanding of Agile / Scaled Agile frameworks. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to harmonise reporting definitions and data inputs. Recommend improvements to testing workflows, reporting structures, and governance routines. Contribute to enhancing Quality Insights maturity and automation across the organisation.
