QA Internship

Up to 3 Months

UK or Portugal - Remote

Role Summary

We're hiring a QA Intern to be the first line of defense for product quality — specifically UI/UX correctness. This is a pure quality-assurance role focused on visual polish, responsive behavior, and basic accessibility across our products. No coding or security background required; what matters is a sharp eye, curiosity for exploring new software, and disciplined bug reporting.

Must Have Skills

  • Eye for visual detail — can spot inconsistent spacing, misalignment, and styling drift across screens.
  • Strong aptitude for exploring new applications and quickly learning new software/tools.
  • Able to use browser dev tools to inspect and verify responsive breakpoints.
  • Comfortable filing clear, reproducible bug reports — screenshots plus exact repro steps.
  • Basic accessibility awareness: colour contrast, tab order, alt text.
  • Any prior exposure to a bug tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues) is a plus.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Success Looks Like

  • Independently runs structured QA passes on new features and releases.
  • Bug reports are consistently clear enough that engineers can reproduce issues without follow-up questions.
  • Flags accessibility issues (contrast, tab order, missing alt text) as a matter of habit, not prompting.
  • Builds working fluency with the team's bug tracker and QA workflow.
