QA Manager
QA Manager
As a QA Manager, you help make sure the food we produce is safe, legal, and high-quality every day. You lead the Quality Assurance team and oversee quality systems across the site. You work closely with Operations, Technical and other teams to ensure standards are followed, issues are resolved quickly, and continuous improvement is part of everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team across site operations.
- Act as the main point of contact for food safety and quality matters.
- Ensure quality systems meet customer, legal, and company standards.
- Work closely with Operations to maintain strong quality and hygiene practices.
- Manage non-conformances, ensuring actions are completed and closed out.
- Investigate quality, micro, or process issues and agree clear outcomes.
- Support audits, inspections, and customer visits.
- Help develop and maintain HACCP and food safety systems.
- Train, coach, and develop QA colleagues and auditors.

- Experience in a QA or technical role within food manufacturing.
- A good understanding of food safety, quality systems, and audits.
- The ability to lead teams and work effectively with production colleagues.
- A confident, calm, and practical approach when dealing with issues or challenges.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to explain standards to various stakeholder groups.
