QA Manual Tester | Back Office Systems | Java | Endur | Settlements | Hybrid (2 days) in London | 6 Month Contract | £630/day Inside IR35

A Manual QA Tester is needed for a leading organisation in the energy trading sector that is looking to bring in an experienced Manual QA Engineer to support the testing of bespoke back-office systems that integrate with Endur.

The QA Manual Tester is a contract opportunity within a team responsible for ensuring the quality of critical post-trade systems covering settlements, trade confirmations, and payments. The successful candidate will play a key role in validating data flows between internally built Java applications and Endur, whilst helping improve the overall testing capability.

This is a predominantly manual testing role with a strong focus on backend business processes, although some UI testing will also be required. The ideal candidate will have experience creating comprehensive test plans, supporting system migrations, and working across multiple concurrent projects within an Agile environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
