About JDM Food Group

Founded in 1999 and rooted in Lincolnshire, JDM Food Group began by sourcing premium garlic and ginger—since then, we’ve evolved into Smart Flavourists®, expertly transforming high-quality ingredients into innovative sauces, pastes, marinades, and more. With state-of-the-art facilities and an integrated supply chain spanning ingredient sourcing to packaging, we deliver exceptional flavour solutions across the UK and Europe. Driven by food safety, sustainability, and innovation, we’re proud to create products that set the standard for quality and taste.

QA Operative – Monday – Thursday Night Shift (18.00 – 06.00)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Operative to join our Technical team to be responsible for supporting the QA function and ensuring compliance with company systems, food safety, quality, and legal requirements. You will carry out raw material intake checks, quality inspections, positive release, validations, and routine audits (GMP, hygiene, fabrication, temperature, and CCP compliance).

This role is well-suited to someone with previous QA or technical experience who is looking to build a stable, long-term career within food manufacturing. Due to the level of site-specific training and technical knowledge involved, we are keen to appoint someone who is committed to developing within the role and contributing to the business over time.

Working on-site in our factory, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet all specifications, legal requirements, and customer expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
