Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

Location: Southport (hybrid after probation, 3 days office, 2 days WFH)

Salary: Competitive, depending on your experience

Do you have experience in software quality assurance and enjoy identifying issues before they reach users?

Are you someone who thrives on improving software quality through detailed testing and close collaboration with development teams?

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join the development team supporting Perfect Portal, part of the InfoTrack and ATI Group family.

In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our software throughout the development lifecycle - from validating new functionality and identifying defects to supporting releases and improving QA processes.

About Perfect Portal

Perfect Portal is part of the ATI Group, the world’s largest legal technology group, and sits within InfoTrack.

Perfect Portal supports law firms at the start of their journey, helping them win more work, onboard clients with confidence, and manage their business with clarity.

As our product development activity grows in scale and complexity, we’re expanding the team to ensure new features and releases are thoroughly tested and software quality continues to support business growth.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Identify, record, prioritise, and track software defects using Jira or equivalent defect management tools
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure issues have been resolved before release
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and the Development Team Lead to understand requirements and ensure they are testable
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Validate new features against business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Carry out browser and mobile application testing
  • Support release activities by completing pre-release validation and post-release verification
  • Help maintain and improve QA processes, standards, and documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality and testing efficiency
  • Provide clear updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to investigate reported issues and reproduce defects where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
