Your Role
As part of the Quality team, this role is responsible for ensuring that all inspection, testing, and food safety processes for raw materials and finished products are correctly defined, maintained, and compliant. The position plays a key role in safeguarding product quality by aligning SAP inspection plans with HACCP principles, customer requirements, and internal standards, while actively supporting audits, supplier approvals, environmental monitoring, and continuous improvement across the site.

Your key responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update SAP inspection plans for raw materials and finished products, ensuring alignment with HACCP categories, customer requirements, the company contaminant matrix, and food safety standards.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with internal, customer, and external standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000), supporting audits, traceability exercises, and certification activities.
- Manage supplier-related quality activities, including raw material approval in the Supplier DMS system and maintenance of Kosher and Halal material data.
- Own routine quality and food safety controls, including environmental monitoring (swabbing), factory inspections (hygiene, GMP, glass, traceability), CCP audits, and verification of corrective actions.
- Maintain analytical equipment through routine calibration and servicing, coordinating with external service providers and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Support cross-functional teams by contributing to customer questionnaires, HACCP activities, customer complaint investigations (including root cause analysis), and collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, Production, Supply Chain, Development, laboratories, and suppliers.
- Act as deputy for QC Technicians and the QA Supervisor when required and fulfil additional site responsibilities such as Zone Fire Warden duties.
- Ensure all mandatory training and retraining requirements are completed and kept up to date.

Your Profile
- Experience within the food industry.
- Science or Food Technology qualification (or equivalent).
- HACCP Level 2 certification.
- Strong understanding of Food Safety, Quality systems, and audit requirements.
- Experience working with SAP inspection plans is an advantage.
- Structured, detail-oriented working style with strong documentation skills.
- Confident communicator able to work with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
