We are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to join our Bromborough Technical Team.
Working Hours: 5 days out of 6 days - 0700 1530 Day Shift
The purpose of the role is to ensure that all products meet integrity and specification requirements.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensure that one-page specs for products are on the line prior to start up
- Responsible for changing the threshold on metal detectors.
- Responsible for conducting fat tests for the Mince line only.
- Conducting various pre and postproduction checks, including Gas, average weight, metal detector, finish product, pre-despatch and despatch
- Daily calibration checks of probes
- Responsible for taking lab samples and conducting meat content analysis.
- Checking labels for accuracy against specification and product, including conducting double check
- Conducting Retail pack tare checks on catch weights
- Conducting scale verification
- T2 chart (check scale is running average weight)
- Completing random checks on lines to see if any old scan labels have been left.
- Machine Mind including labellers and Sealpac.
