Join STS Group as our next Electrical QAQC Engineer for a major heavy industrial project in Slough.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical QAQC Engineer to join our project in Slough, UK. Part of the Dussmann Group of companies based out of Berlin, STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental & Quality practices.
The Opportunity
This role will work closely with the wider project leadership team to ensure our project meets the highest standards, meeting and exceeding our clients' expectations and deliverables. Key to this role will be the ability to effectively plan and manage quality systems and procedures.
Reporting to the Project Manager, here are some of the key duties of this role:
- Prepare electrical handover inspection and test documentation and operation & maintenance manuals
- Issue the relevant ITRs to the Cx Agent to achieve the Cx tagging
- Perform quality inspections of the energy system installations and support the close-out of defects
- Review completed electrical test documentation and populate it into the electrical TTOPs
- Implementation of STS Quality and Inspection Test Plans on projects
- Liaise with subcontractors and approve their proposed TTOPs
- Support the commissioning procedures with the relevant test inspection data
- Deliver STS quality themed inductions and toolbox talks to project teams
- Review and issue final handover packages to the client
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout the installation and inspection of the project.
- Meetings/inspections with local regulatory bodies
- Liaise with the client on installation and quality matters
- Attend quality meetings
- Input into weekly progress reporting on quality items
- Perform internal quality audits

Key Qualifications Required:

- Electrical/MEP craft qualification with QAQC experience or Electrical/ MEP, Engineering degree with QAQC experience
- Quality auditing experience and/or qualifications
- Evidence of previous experience controlling the QAQC handover of Data Centre projects for Electrical and/or MEP, CSA packages of work
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
