Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint a QA/QC Manager based in Motherwell, Scotland, to support our growing Data Centre business.

We are committed to providing cutting-edge solutions for our clients' Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a QA/QC Manager to join our innovative team. The QA/QC Manager will lead and oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, client specifications, and commissioning objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving quality compliance, inspection, and testing programs, and continuous improvement throughout the construction and commissioning lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence are achieved across all project phases.

What you will deliver?

  • Develop, implement, and oversee project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans across all phases of delivery.
  • Lead the development and execution of QA/QC strategies to ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and manage robust QA/QC frameworks to support successful project delivery and commissioning readiness.
  • Drive Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across multi-disciplinary Data Centre projects, ensuring adherence to agreed quality standards.
  • Manage the implementation of project quality plans, promoting a right-first-time culture throughout construction and commissioning.
  • Provide leadership and governance for all QA/QC processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across projects.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a QA/QC leadership role within Data Centre, mission-critical, MEP, or major construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, inspection regimes, and commissioning requirements.
  • Experience implementing and managing quality management systems in line with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ability to lead quality activities across multi-disciplinary teams, including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Commissioning disciplines.
  • Demonstrable experience managing inspections, audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement.
  • Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
