Based in Slough, this role is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital part in ensuring data integrity and establishing local support structures for ongoing LIMS master data management.

Site-based with limited flexibility

This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. We offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with business needs.

What you will get:

  • An agile career and dynamic working culture.
  • An inclusive and ethical workplace.
  • Competitive hourly rate / compensation package.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Perform local master data setup and load in alignment with global guidelines and data principles to ensure strict data integrity.
  • Build and input all initially required master data into the global LIMS system, including consumables, sampling plans, specifications, parameter lists, test methods, and LES templates.
  • Conduct local data cleansing to ensure high data quality and accuracy across the laboratory platforms.
  • Develop clear and concise local work instructions to detail the execution of global data processes at the site level.
  • Collaborate with global and local Quality Control (QC) stakeholders to align master data structures.
  • Potentially transition into a permanent role within the local LIMS Office, providing ongoing master data support and leadership at the Slough site.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
