Quality Control (QC) Analyst
Type: 12-Month contract
Are you passionate about ensuring product quality? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated QC Analyst to join their team at the Grangemouth site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control analysis on various samples, including in-process, final, occupational hygiene, and environmental samples.
- Provide analytical support to manufacturing plants, troubleshooting any equipment issues that arise.
- Analyse and verify product quality against predetermined manufacturing specifications.
- Ensure all analytical equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to departmental quality systems.
- Collaborate with the QC team to guarantee timely reporting of sample results.

What We're Looking For:
- Strong analytical expertise in a range of techniques, particularly G.C. and HPLC operations.
- Effective communication skills to engage with all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional planning and organisational abilities to manage your workload efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying production needs and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in occupational hygiene and environmental monitoring, including swabbing and effluent analysis.
- Proficiency in Agilent UPLC, with a knack for troubleshooting and maintenance.

Qualifications:
- HNC or equivalent in a science or engineering-related discipline.
