QC Checker

About The Role

We are recruiting for a QC Checker to join our expanding Quality team based in Barton-upon-Humber.

Main responsibilities:

Work within a designated department and team to ensure all products and units are subjected to rigorous quality control check prior to packing and dispatch. Checks will consist of label verification to check if product matches the label including type, colour, size, edge banding, frontal, fittings, and other accessories which may be included To ensure every unit is checked 100% before packaging is applied Be able to identify different manufactured pieces and designs Monitor and report any quality issues to the Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor, Quality team leader’s and Quality captain Carrying out minor repairs on any of the defected pieces in line with the Quality standards Help towards reducing the overall amount of reworks and rejects on the assembly lines Be present and engaging in daily quality toolbox talks to discuss ongoing issues and projects Compliance against quality check sheets. Filling them in and recognizing any trending patterns Be able to offer support to the manufacturing teams when required Provide support to the Quality Captain Maintain High Quality of Manufacturing systems to Meet ISO 9001 standards
