Quality Control Inspector – Permanent Role
Location: Oxfordshire, United Kingdom Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 Discipline: Quality
We are partnering with a leading organisation in the medical device industry to recruit a meticulous Quality Control Inspector, playing a critical role in maintaining compliance and product integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and measurement of raw materials, components, and finished products against defined specifications.
- Ensure adherence to control plans, engineering drawings, and company procedures during production.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections, approving products for safe and compliant dispatch.
- Maintain cleanroom standards and uphold regulatory requirements (e.g., cleanroom clothing protocols).
- Complete detailed and accurate inspection documentation and collaboratively resolve any discrepancies with relevant teams.

Role Requirements
- Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment is essential, including proficiency in wearing and maintaining cleanroom PPE.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust ability to follow strict SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precision tasks (e.g., using metrology tools).
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection roles, particularly within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharma), is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with basic metrology techniques (e.g., measurements using calipers, micrometers) is desirable.
