Quality Control (QC) Inspector – Textiles & Garments (Travel-based Assignment, USA)

The Opportunity: QC Inspector for Textiles & Garments (USA)

We’re seeking a QC Inspector to travel to either Pennsylvania or Los Angeles for a high-impact assignment supporting QIMA’s Consumer Goods Division. This is a time-bound contract (4–6 weeks, extensible) for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Reporting to an Operations Manager, you’ll:

  • Daily Inspections:
    • Monitor inbound email for inspection documentation and guidelines.
    • Conduct supplier inspections on schedule with professional communication.
  • Standard Implementation:
    • Verify merchandise quality against QIMA procedures.
    • Oversee container stuffing/loading ensuring compliance.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Generate detailed inspection reports using company protocols and deadlines.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in quality management, with specialized expertise in softlines/garments/textiles/footwear.
  • Proven knowledge of AQL standards and relevant safety/quality regulations (e.g., textile compliance codes).
  • Fluent English: Clear written and spoken communication skills essential.
  • Attention to detail: Critical for accurate reporting and adherence to standards.
  • High professionalism: Strict ethical standards expected.

Additional Criteria

  • Eligibility to work/enter the USA:
    • Valid work authorization or eligibility under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
  • Availability: Must commence assignment asap and commit to full duration.
