Role Overview

QIMA is hiring a Textiles and Garments QC Inspector for a high-impact, travel-based assignment in the USA (Pennsylvania or Los Angeles).

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 4 to 6 weeks (extendable if required)
  • Eligibility: Open to UK & EU citizens
  • Working location: Onsite assignments in the mentioned cities

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to an Operations Manager, your tasks will include:

  • Checking emails daily to receive inspection documents and guidelines.
  • - Arriving punctually at inspections and engaging professionally with suppliers.
    
  • Conducting merchandise inspections according to company procedures.
    • Overseeing container stuffing and loading standards to match QIMA benchmarks.
  • Filling out inspection reports adhering to company protocols and deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Requirements

Experience:

  • 2+ years in quality control or inspection, particularly within softlines, garments, textiles, or footwear.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proven AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standard application.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality industry regulations.

Communication:

  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.

Attention:

  • Sharp detail orientation with strong professional ethics.

Travel & Legal Requirements

  • Right to work in the USA (or eligibility under the Visa Waiver Program).
  • Willingness to start immediately (ASAP) and complete the full assignment duration.
