Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. Every day at work, our inspectors, auditors, and lab techs use their expertise to help safeguard the products you use every day in your home: from clothes and footwear to toys and baby products, to electronics, appliances, and furniture. Job Description QIMA is hiring a QC Inspector for textiles and garments to join a high-impact project in the USA. This is a travel-based assignment in the USA, with work taking place in either Pennsylvania or Los Angeles. 📅 Start date: ASAP ⏳ Duration: 4 to 6 weeks, with possible extension 🌍 Open to candidates worldwide, provided you meet the requirements What QIMA provides 🎓 3 days of paid training before the assignment ✈️ Flight ticket, booked by QIMA 🏨 Accommodation, booked by QIMA 🍽️ Food allowance: 40 USD per man-day What you'll do Reporting to an Operations Manager, you will join our Operations team to deliver QIMA's inspection services to the QIMA quality standard. Your responsibilities: Check email daily to receive inspection documents and guidelines Attend inspections on time and communicate professionally with suppliers Inspect merchandise according to company procedures, and supervise container stuffing to the same standard Complete inspection reports according to company procedures and timelines Qualifications What you bring: Prior experience in quality management, especially softlines/ garments/ textiles/ footwear (2 years or more); Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations; Good command of English (spoken and written); Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics. Additional Information What you need: Right to work in the USA, or eligibility under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) Available to start ASAP and travel for the full assignment Apply now to join the project!
