QC Microbiology Technician
We are recruiting for a QC Microbiology Technician to join a regulated laboratory environment supporting microbiological testing and batch release activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a microbiology professional looking to develop their experience within Quality Control while working in accordance with GMP, GLP, and company procedures.
In this role, you will:
- Perform microbiological testing of materials and products
- Collect environmental monitoring and water samples
- Ensure accurate reporting of results through laboratory systems
- Maintain laboratory records
- Support environmental monitoring programmes
- Assist with validation testing
- Contribute to investigations relating to OOS, ATR, and method deviations
- Provide day-to-day support to senior microbiology staff
- Help mentor junior team members when required

Skills & Experience
- Experience within a QC Microbiology or microbiology laboratory environment
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and laboratory documentation requirements
- Ability to perform microbiological testing and support batch release activities
- Strong attention to detail with good literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable supporting senior scientists and mentoring junior colleagues
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Fluent English language skills
