Quality Control Technician AkzoNobel – Felling, Tyne & Wear Permanent Night Shift

Job Purpose Join our Quality team in Felling as a Quality Control Technician, where you’ll support quality assurance processes, carry out product testing and help ensure our raw materials and finished goods meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Test and release raw materials and finished products. Carry out manufacturing and filling sample testing. Record results accurately and maintain quality documentation. Support investigations into customer complaints and quality issues. Participate in audits and continuous improvement activities. Maintain QC areas and ensure compliance with site and laboratory procedures. Support the QC team with day-to-day activities.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a quality control or laboratory environment. Experience within manufacturing, paint or coatings is desirable. Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. A proactive approach with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
