Aurora Energy Services is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Trainee QC Inspector to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in Quality Control. You’ll receive the training and support needed to progress into a fully qualified QC Inspector while working alongside experienced inspectors on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with welding inspections and inspection reporting.
  • Ensure work meets company procedures, welding standards, and client requirements.
  • Support material traceability and inspection activities.
  • Work closely with QC Inspectors, Project Engineers, Workshop, Materials, and Stores teams.
  • Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in welding/fabrication of pipework or structural applications.
  • Ability to read and understand Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Good communication and IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
