An experienced QHSE Advisor is required to join the team of a successful and growing engineering business in the North East of Scotland.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the company’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental function, driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business. This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with managers and employees at all levels to develop a proactive safety culture, maintain compliance, and support operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the company’s QHSE management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards, and supporting the business through its next phase of growth. You will oversee ISO management systems, lead audits and certification activities, conduct incident investigations, and champion improvements that positively influence the wider business.

You will have previous experience in a QHSE function, and a strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and ISO management systems. Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively as part of a management team.
