QHSE Coordinator
QHSE Co-ordinator (Health & Safety Co-ordinator)

Are you confident managing data, coordinating audits and supporting operational teams to stay compliant?
Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a QHSE Co-ordinator (Health & Safety Co-ordinator) to support our shared user sites in Northampton. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, where you’ll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance and supporting the smooth running of QHSE activities across multiple sites.

- A salary of £28,000 per annum

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support the delivery of health, safety and environmental standards across sites, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and best practices
- Maintain and manage QHSE documentation, including risk assessments, audits, policies, and compliance records, ensuring accuracy, currency, and readiness for audits
- Monitor incident, accident, and compliance data, supporting investigations, tracking actionable items, and driving follow-up activities to reduce risk and improve safety performance
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and planned preventative maintenance activities, working with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely completion and compliance
- Act as the central point of coordination for safety-related queries, systems administration, and training records, ensuring effective communication and consistency across operations

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a health & safety, compliance, or administrative role within a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage data, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), including experience using systems and databases
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) and a proactive, detail-focused approach to improving safety standards
