QHSE Manager

REDA Energy | Aberdeen, UK | Full-Time

Lead QHSE Excellence in a Growing International Energy Business

REDA Energy is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental performance across our Aberdeen operations. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving our QHSE Management System, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards and company policies.

Working closely with management teams, you will provide expert QHSE guidance, drive a strong safety culture, and lead compliance, risk management, audits, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a proactive QHSE professional with experience in an SME environment, ideally within the energy, oil & gas, engineering, industrial services or related sectors. You will be a confident leader, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and embedding a culture of accountability, compliance and operational excellence.

REDA Energy is an independent oilfield chemical supply company with operations and technical centres across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.

We specialise in solving production chemistry challenges within the oil and gas sector, developing customised treatment packages and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a positive QHSE culture across the organisation.
  • Develop, implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures and management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify, assess and manage operational risks, driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead audits, inspections and incident investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor QHSE performance and provide recommendations to improve business and operational outcomes.
  • Oversee QHSE training, coaching and development across the workforce.
  • Act as the main point of contact for QHSE matters with employees, customers, contractors and regulators.
  • Support contractor management and supply chain compliance.
  • Ensure safe, secure and compliant facilities, including emergency preparedness and response.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience working in a QHSE Manager role within an SME environment.
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation.
  • Experienced in conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills.

Preferred

  • Experience within Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Energy, Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial sectors.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Membership of IOSH, IEMA or similar professional body.
