The travel grant is designed for motivated students within the community who want to broaden their expertise and take part in world-class academic conferences.

Conference details:

  • Event: NeurIPS 2026
  • Location: Sydney, Australia
  • Dates: 6 – 12 December 2026

Who can apply:

This grant is open to students who plan to attend NeurIPS in 2026 and are currently pursuing advanced studies (Master, PhD or Post Doc) within a STEM subject.

How to Apply:

  • Prepare a copy of your CV/resume.
  • Include details of any paper submission to NeurIPS 2026, if applicable.
  • Submit your application via our website.

All applications will be reviewed by an expert panel at QRT. Selection decisions are made at QRT’s discretion and successful applicants will be contacted directly with next steps.

Additional considerations:

  • Preference will be given to applicants who are presenting a paper or poster at NeurIPS 2026.
  • Applicants must not already be in receipt of another travel grant or sponsorship for this conference, except where funding is provided by your university or academic institution.
